BENGALURU: A 31-year-old Malayali woman accused of raising fake bomb threats at the Kempegowda International Airport in Karnataka has been arrested. The investigation revealed that the woman made a fake bomb threat after missing her flight from Bengaluru to Kolkata. The arrested woman is named Manasi Satheebainu, a native of Kozhikode.

CISF officer Sandeep Singh, who was on duty at the Kempegowda International Airport, filed a police complaint about the bomb threat. The woman reached the airport gate around 8.20 am last morning and demanded to be allowed to board an IndiGo flight to Kolkata. She threatened to blow up the airport if she isn't allowed to board the plane.

At this time CISF officer Sandeep Singh tried to pacify the woman. But not listening to this, the young woman grabbed the officer's collar and allegedly assaulted him. The woman then called out to the passengers that a bomb had been planted and asked them to flee for their lives.
