THRISSUR: Suresh Gopi, the NDA candidate from Thrissur, voted from the same constituency on Friday. The actor-turned-politician arrived at Mukkattukara St. George's School to cast his vote.
“People have decided. With the touch of their fingers, lotus will bloom in Kerala. I am not allowed to give any more such political talks at this stage. Feeling very happy right now, that I had the opportunity to vote for my name in the list.” said Suresh Gopi.
Meanwhile, Alappuzha candidate Arif placed hope about increasing his majority this time. He was responding to the media after casting a vote.
‘The UDF candidate will remain in Rajya Sabha for two more years. I will be selected as MP from here so that the constituency will get two members in parliament. Talks about triangular contests in Alappuzha are nothing but a sham. Everything will come in favour of LDF, and there is going to be a massive LDF wave” Arif said.
