LUCKNOW: Incidents of wild animals venturing out into human settlements and attacking domestic animals are widely reported in states including Kerala. Now, footage of a man trapped in a cage set up to catch a leopard is now circulating through social media. The incident took place in a village in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh.
Footprints of a leopard were spotted in the area. In order to prevent any untoward incidents, forest officials set a trap to catch the wild animal. A rooster was kept inside the cage as bait. In the morning, the locals found a weeping man inside the cage instead of a leopard. As per reports, the man tried to catch the rooster and got trapped inside the cage.
Despite his best efforts, he could not get out. Later, the forest department officials reached the spot and freed him. The video of a man inside the cage had gone viral on the internet.
