THRISSUR: Former MLA and Congress leader Anil Akkara has turned against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the Wadakkanchery flat scam case. The former MLA had the other day alleged that the violation of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act was with the knowledge of the chief minister. Anil said the evidences to prove this will be released in today's press meet.
Anil Akkara said all the documents clarifying the role of the chief minister in the violation will be released in the press meet convened in Thrissur DCC. Akkara alleged that the violation of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) in the Life Mission Wadakkanchery flat scam was hundred percent with the knowledge of the chief minister.
Meanwhile, a special CBI court in Kochi had the other day rejected the bail plea of M Sivasankar, former principal secretary to the chief minister in the Life Mission bribery case. The court accepted ED's argument that bail should not be granted as the investigation is in the preliminary stages.
