Sexual abuse in Kozhikode: Police records statement of serial actress accused of introducing complainant to accused, reports say

KOZHIKODE: As per reports, the police have extended their investigation to a serial actress in connection with a woman being allegedly raped here after promising a role in a movie. A media reported that the police recorded a statement from the serial actress who introduced the woman to the accused.

The sexual abuse complaint was lodged by a 24-year-old Kottayam woman with the Nadakkavu police. As per the complaint, the woman was abused in a flat in Kozhikode last Saturday.


Natives of Thirurangadi and Parappanangadi are said to be the accused in the case. They are in hiding.

As per the accusation, the woman was called to the flat by the accused saying that they would give her an opportunity to act in the film. She was then allegedly abused after giving a juice laced with drugs.
