Unusual protest in front of Speaker's office; alleges opposition MLAs manhandled by watch and ward

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The opposition staged an unusual protest in front of Speaker A N Shamseer's office in the assembly. The UDF MLAs staged a satyagraha in front of the Speaker's office. They were forcibly shifted from there by the watch and ward and only after that the speaker entered the office.

Some unruly scenes were witnessed when the watch and ward came to stop the MLAs. The opposition members raised slogans against the speaker. The opposition criticized the Speaker for being a helper of Pinarayi and added that he is an insult. Meanwhile, the opposition alleged that the watch and ward manhandled Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan. The MLAs of the ruling party are also in front of the office. Sachin Dev and Ansalan are in front of the office. A verbal spat between the ruling and opposition members were witnessed.
