Man arrested for throwing currency notes from moving car, watch video

NEW DELHI: A man was arrested for throwing currency notes on the road while sitting behind a moving vehicle. The incident took place on Golf Course Road in Haryana. The man threw money on the road while sitting in the trunk of a white-colored car. The man did this so that the video of the incident could go viral. The police started an investigation and arrested the youth after the video wen viral.

The youth tried to reenact a scene from Shahid Kapoor's latest web series 'Farzi'. In ‘Farzi’, there is scene in which a man throws fake notes on the road to avoid being caught by the police. At the same time, it was not possible to identify whether the man threw fake or original currency from the car.

The police have registered a case against two people for shooting the video.

A similar incident happened in Bengaluru recently. A man threw notes from top of a flyover. He did this to advertise his company. Traffic in Bengaluru was blocked due to the rush of people to collect the notes.
