Communist Party of India ranks 12th in list of 20 deadliest terror groups in world; Lashkar-e-Taiba in 16th position

The Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) has released a list of the twenty deadliest terror groups of 2022. The Communist Party of India is ranked 12th in the list. According to this list, the deadliest terror group in the world is ISIS. The second place belongs to the terrorist organization Al-Shabaab in Somalia.

Apart from this, the number of deaths and injuries caused by the 20 terrorist the groups have caused. According to this, the Communist Party of India has caused the death of 39 people. Lashkar-e-Taiba, a terror group in Pakistan, is ranked 16th.

The IEP report also lists the countries with the highest number of terrorist incidents. Pakistan is the first country. It is also noteworthy that India's name is not in this list. Syria is in second place. The four deadliest terror groups of 2022 are ISIS, Al-Shabaab, JNIM and BLA. Afghanistan is the country that is most impacted by terrorism. Mali, Syria and Pakistan are also in this list.
