Autorickshaw driver arrested for indecent exposure in front of ladies' hostel

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Museum police arrested an auto driver, accused of exposing himself in front of a ladies' hostel at night. The arrested Muthuraj (47), of Chandrika Bhavan in Vayalikada in Moonnamoodu in Vatiyoorkavu, allegedly exposed himself to the female students housed in a ladies' hostel near Cotton Hill School at around 10.30 pm on Sunday.

According to the police, Muthuraj reached in front of the hostel in his autorickshaw and exposed himself to the female students who were studying upstairs and left the place. The students immediately informed the police with the number Muthuraj's autorickshaw. Muthuraj was arrested after an investigation based on CCTV footage and the information shared by the students. The museum CI said there were no other pending cases against him. The accused was later produced in court.
