Woman of Kollam held for fracturing auto driver’s hand 

KOLLAM: A woman has been arrested for fracturing an auto driver’s hand in the middle of the road and also for attacking a girl. The arrested is Ansiya Beevi of Pangalukadu. A team led by Kottarakkara DySP arrested the woman running a ladies store.

She regularly fights with people for parking their vehicles in front of her shop. She had attacked a girl of scheduled caste and tribe last week. She hurled abuses at her. Ansiya suspected the auto driver Vijith of Kadakkal in Kollam to have shot the video of her fight with the girl. She reached the auto stand to question Vijith.

Ansiya did not pay heed to him when he said that he had not shot the video. She attacked him with iron rods and then returned to her shop. Vijith was immediately taken to the hospital. When the police registered a case, she went into hiding.
