Two women killed in accident on way to church

THRISSUR: Two including a woman pedestrian died in an accident at Pariyaram in Chalakudy. The accident happened at Pariyaram on the Chalakudy-Athirappilly road Wednesday morning at 5.45 am. The two dead are pedestrian Annu of Pariyaram and Annie, wife of Karipayi Thomas. The condition of Thomas is serious.

The car which lost control hit the pedestrian and then rammed into a tree. Thomas was driving the car. The two were on their way to the church. Thomas, who sustained injuries, has been admitted at a hospital in Chalakudy. The bodies of the two have been shifted to the hospital.
