Shahrukh Saifi remanded, magistrate reaches hospital and completes procedures, no serious health issues

KOZHIKODE: Shahrukh Saifi, the accused in the train fire case in Elathur, has been remanded. The magistrate reached Kozhikode Medical College Hospital and completed all the procedures. He will be in judicial custody till April 20.

The accused will be discharged and shifted to jail. The decision was taken at the medical board convened. The hospital authorities said that he has no serious health issues. The burns he sustained is not serious. His eyes are swollen but this has not affected his eyes.

He was admitted to the hospital after confirmed of jaundice in a test conducted the other day. As he does not have any serious health issues, the investigating team will submit a plea in the court for his custody.

Whom all he met in Kozhikode, from where did he get the food found in his bag, from which pump he bought the petrol. Petrol or chemical liquid in the bottles, how did he board the train from Kannur without being seen by anybody. Many questions like who accompanied him to Kozhikode, answers to all these should be obtained from him.
