58 crores will be spent on 23 projects for job skill development at local level: Minister Sivankutty

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister V Sivankutty said in a press conference that 23 projects will be implemented at a cost of 58.09 crores under the 100-day action plan related to the second anniversary of the government. Minister said that skill development at the local level and 'Karmachari scheme', which provides jobs along with studies, is important in this.

'Kaushal' centers will be started at Pathanamthitta and Thiruvananthapuram to enable skill development at the local level. Karmachari scheme aimed at work along with studies will be implemented in collaboration with the Department of General Education with the aim of increasing the prestige and value of work among students.
