NEW DELHI: An Air India flight to London returned to New Delhi after a passenger hit two cabin crew members. The passenger has been deboarded and a case has been registered. The flight 786 had taken off at 6.52 am on Monday and returned at 9.36 am. Reports said the flier has been taken to the police station.
‘The flight to London was returned to Delhi after the flier hit two of their crew members. Not heeding to verbal and written warnings, the passenger continued with unruly behaviour including causing physical harm to two of the cabin crew members. The pilot in command decided to return to Delhi and the passenger was handed over to the security personnel upon landing, Air India said in a statement.
Air India Express has cancelled the concession given to children. Children aged two to 12 years were given a 20 percent discount on tickets. It was withdrawn as part of the reforms following Tata's takeover of Air India Express. With this, children below 12 years of age also have to buy regular tickets.
