Visuals of Ramayana serial played during DJ party; two people arrested

NOIDA: The police have arrested two persons in connection with an incident in which visuals of the television serial Ramayana were played during a DJ party at a pub. The arrested persons are Manak Choudhary, owner of the Lord Of Drinks pub, and manager Abhishek. The Noida police voluntarily registered the case for hurting religious sentiments and promoting enmity between various groups.

The visuals of the television serial were played along with a song during the DJ party. Several people had raised criticism after the video of the DJ party surfaced on social media. Following this, the police registered a case. The police also questioned Pooja Choudhary, wife of Manak Choudhary and co-owner of the pub. The police have also named the DJ as an accused in the case. The DJ, who is currently in Chennai, will be arrested soon, the police said.
