Salman's failed marriage attempt; Juhi Chawla reacts

Salman Khan is nowadays on a detour, back to his good old days and bolstering camaraderie with old foes. His latest cameo in Pathaan implicitly told how the big brother in the Khan trio is approaching things. Salman relishes good friendships and is also an iconic bachelor. His rendezvous with a roster of actresses headlined page three during the halcyon days of print journalism. Now the actor in a recent interview talked about the one actress he wished to marry. No guess would fall right as it is Juhi Chawla of all people.

Salman even approached Juhi’s home with a proposal. Alas, her father had bigger intentions and outrightly rejected the prospect of his daughter getting betrothed to Khan. Now, after decades-long, Juhi Chawala has responded to Salman's viral video.

It was all giggles for Juhi before beginning the story. “Salman was young, and even I was myself a callow young actress with no idea of the reel world. I had no idea who he was. The marriage plan fell apart”

Both Juhi and Salman debuted in 1988. Hitherto the two actors haven't appeared in a film together. Though the stage shows done between the two are aplenty, there remains a chasm that needs to be taken out. Juhi says about Salman asking her to do a film with her. If things move plain sailing, the wait won't be that long.
