Former J&K governor Satya Pal Malik summoned by CBI for questioning in insurance scam

NEW DELHI: Former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik has been summoned by CBI for questioning in connection with the Reliance Insurance scam. Malik revealed that he has been asked to appear either on April 27 or 29.

Satya Pal Malik's recent revelations regarding the central government's lapses in the Pulwama terror attack were controversial. Malik had said that the government didn’t provide a plane to transport the jawans and the intelligence agency did not find the car filled with explosives. He also revealed that when he mentioned this to the Prime Minister, he asked him not to talk about it. Following this, the CBI has asked him to appear for questioning.
