UDF to lay siege to secretariat tomorrow

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The UDF will lay siege to the secretariat against corruption tomorrow as the Pinarayi government celebrates its second anniversary. The UDF will also present a charge sheet against the government before the people. UDF convener MM Hassan said in a press conference that thousands of activists will participate.

Activists of the Thiruvananthapuram district will surround the secretariat gates at 7 am. While activists from Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha and Kottayam districts will rally in front of the secretariat at 8 am, activists from Idukki and Ernakulam districts will surround the secretariat at 9 am.

AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal will inaugurate the strike at 10 am. Leader of the Opposition VD Satheesan will preside over the function. K Sudhakaran, Ramesh Chennithala, PK Kunhalikutty, PJ Joseph, Anoop Jacob, Mani C. Kappan, Shibu Baby John, MK Premachandran, CP John, PMA Salam, MK Muneer, G. Devarajan, A. Rajan Babu, John John, various MPs and MLAs will also participate.
