BENGALURU: Three people from Kerala have been invited for the swearing-in ceremony of the Congress government in Karnataka. While Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was not invited, three people from non-Congress parties were invited. Kerala Congress Mani faction leader Jose K Mani, UDF constituents Muslim League president Sadiq Ali Thangal and RSP leader NK Premachandran were invited.
Meanwhile, 20 people were invited as political party representatives. CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, and CPI General Secretary A. Raja are among those invited. D.M.K. Leader and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, JDU leaders Nitish Kumar, M.P. Lalan Singh, TMC leader Mamata Banerjee, JMM leader Hemant Soren, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, NCP leader Sharad Pawar, Shiv Sena Uddhav wing leader Uddhav Thackeray, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah, PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti, MDMK leader Vaiko, CPI (ML) general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, VCK leader Thol. Thirumavalavan and RLD leader Jayant Chaudhary were invited. Arvind Kejriwal has not been invited along with Pinarayi among the Chief Ministers.
