Passengers in discomfort
Passengers suffered yesterday due to the cancellation of train services and rescheduling. Although the railway authorities had informed about the control of trains through media and social media in advance, passengers had to wait for hours at many stations.
15 trains were completely canceled yesterday. Passengers did not even get information from the stations about which platform the trains diverted via Alappuzha would reach. The reply was that there will be a notification.
At the same time, railway officials said that those who had reserved their seats had been informed in advance about the train cancellation and rescheduling. All services will be back to normal on Tuesday.
