Woman dies after being hit by Vande Bharat train in Kasaragod

KASARAGOD: In a tragic incident, a woman died after getting hit by the Vande Bharat train in Kasaragod on Monday. The incident took place near Nileshwaram church at 2 pm. The woman who appears to be of age 22 was run over by a Vande Bharat train servicing between Mangalore to Thiruvananthapuram. The victim has not yet been identified.

Earlier this month, a young man and a woman, both migrant workers, were killed after being hit by a Vande Bharat train. The deceased were identified as Pradeep Sarkar and Binotti Roy, natives of West Bengal. This incident happened on the Vande Bharat train that was servicing between Kasaragod - Thiruvananthapuram.

Meanwhile, the authorities are preparing to install CCTV cameras in major locations after incidents of stone pelting at the Vande Bharat trains have turned rampant.
