Lorry driver hacked to death, found lying in front of SP office in Kannur

KANNUR: A lorry driver was hacked to death near the Kannur Town Police Station. The dead is V D Jinto (39) of Kanichar. He was found lying on the road and was bleeding profusely.

The incident happened Monday early morning at 3 am. It is hinted that a theft gang is behind the attack. Jinto, who sustained deep hack injuries on his right leg collapsed while trying to escape towards the police station. It is hinted that one person has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
