NEW DELHI: Delhi police have filed a chargesheet against the WFI chief Brij Bhushan Singh under charges of sexual harassment and stalking. The 1000-page chargesheet was filed in Patiala court in Delhi. More than 180 people were questioned regarding the allegation.

Meanwhile, the POCSO imposed against Brij Bhushan won't stand ground and the Delhi police may soon seek help from the court to not charge Singh with POCSO. The hearing will start on July 4th.

Two FIRs turned the mainspring for action against the powerful BJP leader of Uttar Pradesh. The first one was filed by a minor girl while the second FIR came from six other wrestling stars. Delhi police commissioner Sanjay Arora is monitoring the proceedings. In the earlier promise to the wrestling stars, the government gave word about filing a chargesheet against Brij Bhushan before the 15th of June. It was on this word that the wrestling stars evacuated the protest site near Jantar Mantar.
