MUMBAI: A 23-year-old woman filed a complaint against the salon after she sustained burn marks during facial treatment. She complained to the police after she sustained permanent burn marks on her face following a facial done at the salon in Andheri, Mumbai.

She spent Rs 17,500 for hydra facial done on June 17. She complained that she felt uncomfortable after the salon staff used substandard products. She alleged that she immediately informed the staff but they did not give much importance to it.

The response of the staff was that it may be due to some allergic reaction. She said that she sought treatment in the hospital and the doctors had given her in writing that the burn marks sustained are permanent. The police have registered a case against the salon.
