THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president K Sudhakaran has filed a complaint against DySP Rustom to Lok Sabha Speaker, Parliamentary Ethics Committee, State Police Chief and Police Complaint Authority for allegedly trying to implicate him in a false case as per CPM's political conspiracy.

"The false case against me under the leadership of this officer is part of the CPM's political hunt to tarnish my reputation in front of society. These matters are clear from the complaint filed by Monson Mavunkal via Viyyur Jail Superintendent in the Ernakulam POCSO Court," Sudhakaran said.

"The conspiracy against me took place on June 17, when the POCSO court convicted Monson Mavunkal. The DySP asked Monson to testify that I was there when Monson molested the girl and that Anoop gave him Rs 25 as per my instruction. When he refused, the DySP abused Monson and his family and threatened to seek revenge by taking him into custody after filing another case," Sudhakaran said.

"The conspiracy against me by the CPM is a direct reflection of the political decay they are facing today. I will continue his strong legal battle against MV Govindan and some corrupt police officers who conspired against me and insulted me," he added.
