Target is pension alone; employees will be dismissed after giving full page notice: Biju Prabhakar

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CMD Biju Prabhakar said that 1243 employees of KSRTC are absent from work. He said this in a video shared on Facebook. They will come in between and sign and leave, pension is their only goal. Such people should take VRS. If they do not join and give an explanation within the specified days, action including termination will be taken. Many people are roaming without accepting the notice. Biju Prabhakar said that he is going to give a full-page notice with their name.

If the workers and management stand together, KSRTC can be taken forward without the help of the government or anyone else. We can go ahead only if we increase the income and reduce the expenditure. A single duty system was implemented for that but some of the employees are opposing single duty without understanding it. 8 hours of duty time is publicized as 12 hours of work. Working hours will only be as per law. Biju Prabhakar stated that such a system was introduced to run the bus during rush hours.

KSRTC is not only an organization of employees but also belongs to the people of Kerala. People board the bus and pay taxes and get paid.
Biju Prabhakar also said that commitment should be shown.
