KUWAIT CITY: In a security campaign conducted in collaboration with the General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigations, 39 expatriates from different countries have been arrested in Kuwait for violating residence and employment laws. The expatriates were apprehended during a rigorous search operation carried out across various regions in the country. The campaign aimed to ensure strict adherence to residence and labour laws and maintain the integrity of the nation's immigration system.
Among those arrested were three beggars from Farwaniya governorate. These people were taken into custody along with other violators of residence and labour laws. All of the apprehended individuals have been handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action.
The authorities have taken swift action against eight expatriates involved in immoral activities last week. The Ministry of Home Affairs reported that individuals of different nationalities were caught engaging in unethical activities through social media platforms in the Mahboola area. As with the previous case, the eight expatriates involved in immoral activities were also handed over to the concerned departments for appropriate legal measures to be taken against them.
