3,48,026 houses completed under LIFE scheme

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister MB Rajesh informed the Assembly that 3,48,026 beneficiaries have completed construction of houses and four housing complexes (174 units) from 2017 to 31st July 2023 through the LIFE scheme. "Construction of 1,17,762 houses and 25 housing complexes (1201 units) is in progress. Rs 13736.10 crores have been spent on the project so far. There are mechanisms in place at the district and local body levels to resolve technical hurdles related to housing construction.", the minister added.
