Nelson Dileepkumar directed 'Jailer' is unapologetic in its style and is running packed even in neighboring Kerala. 'Jailer' also has cameos from Malayalam actors Mohanlal and Vinayakan. However, amidst all the gala of success, superstar Rajini is nowhere to be seen. With all technicians and stars reveling in joy over the movie turning into a superhit, the fans have rightly pointed to the absence of the main man himself.
Meanwhile, pictures of Rajini standing on the river bank with his friends have gone viral. Earlier, the video of Rajinikanth landing at Dehradun airport was shared largely on social media. The actor left for the Himalayas on Wednesday morning. It has been a practiced ritual over several years for the actor to visit the Himalayas just days before the release of his movies. Rajinikanth last traveled to the Himalayas in 2019 and was unable to do his religious sojourn after getting impeded by Covid.
Meanwhile, 'Jailer' is set to break all previous box office records. The movie has already grossed Rs 95 crores worldwide on its opening day. Trade analysts report that the first-day collection has crossed Rs 6 crores from 309 centers in Kerala and Rs 39 crores from Tamil Nadu.
