Four members of Indian family die in ghastly road accident in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH: Four members of an Indian family died in a car accident in Saudi Arabia on Friday. The accident took place on the Hafna-Tuwaiq road in Thumama near Riyadh at 6 a.m. on Friday. The family were visiting Saudi from Kuwait and was travelling in a car. In the horrific crash reported, a trailer truck rammed into the car in a massive collision, later setting the car aflame.

Ghaus Dantu (35), his wife Tabrak Sarwar (31), and their children Muhammad Damil Ghaus (2) and Muhammad Ehan Ghaus (4) died in the tragedy. Ghaus holds an Iqama which allows him to work in Saudi Arabia and do occasional visits. However, not many details have emerged about the family.

They came from Kuwait to Saudi Arabia on tourist visas. The dead bodies are kept at the Ramah General Hospital mortuary, which is 100 km away from Riyadh.
