Watch out for the next three hours in Kerala; IMD predicts rainfall in five major districts

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Meteorological Department has warned about heavy rains in many districts of Kerala in the coming hours. According to the weather office, in the next three hours, there is a possibility of heavy rains in major districts of Kerala. As per IMD, rain is a possibility in districts including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Idukki, Malappuram and Wayanad.

31.08.2023 (Thursday): Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, and Idukki are expected to receive rain.

01.09.2023 (Friday): A yellow alert has been issued for Alappuzha and Idukki. The Meteorological Department has also issued a thunderstorm warning along with rain.

Keep windows and doors closed during high winds and thunderstorms. Stay away from doors and windows. The coastal areas have not been warned until now and no restrictions are in place for fishermen folks.
