KSRTC Swift buses meet with accidents at two places; Numerous people injured

KOZHIKODE: Two KSRTC Swift buses met with an accident at different places this morning. A KSRTC Swift bus crashed into the back of a tank truck at Haripad Nangyarkulangara this morning. Many people were injured in the accident. The KSRTC bus which was travelling from Kozhikode to Thiruvananthapuram collided with the tank truck carrying tar from Mangalore to Tirunelveli. Three people were seriously injured in the incident. 15 people escaped with minor injuries.

A KSRTC Bengaluru - Kozhikode AC Swift bus also met with an accident. The accident happened at 2.30 am. The passengers are reported to be safe. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
