Two-year-old boy dies after mattress falls on top of him

KOZHIKODE: A two-year-old boy died after a mattress leaned on the wall fell on top of him. The dead is Jeffin Sandeep, son of Sandeep of Mukkam Manasseri and Jincy.

The accident happened last evening at 7 pm. It is suspected that the mattress may have fallen on top of him when his mother went to bathe after putting him into sleep. When she came after her bath, saw her son lying under the mattress. The body has been shifted to Kozhikode Medical College for post-mortem.
