Former Andhra Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu arrested in corruption case

HYDERABAD: Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu arrested in corruption case. The arrest was made in a case registered in 2021. Naidu has been charged with non-bailable charges. Chandrababu Naidu's son Nara Lokesh has also been taken into custody by the police.

An arrest warrant was issued against Chandrababu Naidu this morning while he was resting in his van after a public meeting in Andhra's Nandyal. The police said that all the details and evidence related to the case have been given to the court. Chandrababu Naidu had recently said that he would be arrested soon. Naidu is the first accused in the AP Skill Development Corporation scam case. The arrested Naidu will be shifted to Vijayawada.
