NEW DELHI: Union Minister and former Army Chief General V K Singh said that Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) will become part of India after some time. He was responding to the media's question regarding the demand of the people of Pak-Occupied Kashmir to become part of India and the BJP's stand on the matter.

"PoK will merge with India on its own. Wait for some time," the minister told media in Rajasthan. The union minister's response came after China released its standard map by including the Aksai Chin region in Arunachal Pradesh. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had also reacted against China's action.

"China has published a map that includes areas outside of its borders. This is an old habit. China released the map by including parts of India. No change is going to happen because of it. India has a clear stance regarding its border issues. Territories will not become yours just by making absurd claims," he said.
