Six-year-old girl injured as karaoke mic explodes while singing

PALAKKAD: A six-year-old girl suffered injuries after a karaoke mic exploded while singing. The incident took place at Palakkad Kalladikode last Sunday. A child named Finsa Irene, daughter of Firoz Babu, a resident of Kalladikode, was injured.

The family had bought the karaoke mic online for Rs 650. In the self-recorded video, the girl can be seen singing into the mic when it explodes. It is also clear in the video that the mic is being charged.

Meanwhile, the father said it was a Chinese-made mic. However, the family is not sure about filing a complaint as matters including Mike's company name are not clear.
