Greeshma, accused in Sharone murder case, shifted to jail in Mavelikkara on complaint of fellow inmates

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Greeshma, accused in the Parassala Sharon murder case, has been shifted to another jail. Greeshma, who was in Attakulangara Women's Jail, was shifted to Mavelikkara Special Jail. Two prisoners, including Greeshma, were shifted following a complaint by fellow inmates. Greeshma was in Attakulangara Jail since she was arrested in the case.

Greeshma poisoned her lover Sharon at her house in Palukal, Tamil Nadu on October 14, 2022. Sharon was admitted to the hospital after he developed uneasiness. Sharon died on October 25 after battling life for several days.

Sharon did not suspect Greeshma even in his death statement. The Parassala police concluded that it was a normal death. However later, after the interrogation and investigation conducted by the special investigation team, they found that Greeshma killed Sharon by giving poison.

She killed him in order to marry another person. Based on the police finding that her mother and uncle tried to save Greeshma, they were also made accused in the case.
