Jailer in 600 crore club; Karuvannur bank scam closely followed it to enter 500 crore club, says Krishnakumar

THRISSUR: Actor and BJP leader Krishnakumar has mocked CPM in the Karuvannur Cooperative Bank fraud case. He criticized CPM by comparing the Karuvannur bank fraud amount with the collection record of Rajinikinath-starrer 'Jailer'. 'Jailer movie in 600 crore club, Karuvannur Bank closely followed it to enter 500 crore club,' Krishna Kumar wrote on his Instagram page.

The actor's response came after the Enforcement Directorate stated that Sathish, the main accused in the case, had committed a fraud of Rs 500 crores.

Meanwhile, the ED raided two CPM-ruled cooperative banks under in Thrissur district in connection with the Karuvannur bank fraud yesterday.
