THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Police has taken strict action against the increasing number of frauds and suicides related to online apps in the state. Police issued notices to Google and domain registrars asking them to remove 72 websites and loan apps.

The notice was issued by Kerala Police Cyber ​​Operation SP. The notice has asked to remove fraudulent loan apps and trading apps.

A special WhatsApp number system was launched yesterday for those who have been scammed by taking loans using unauthorized loan apps to file a complaint with the police. Police can be contacted on WhatsApp 24 hours a day at 9497980900 to exchange information. Complaints can be made only through text, photo, video and voice. This system is working at Thiruvananthapuram Police Headquarters. Yesterday, the police also shared the 24-hour cyber helpline number 1930 through social media to report fraud to the police.
