HANGZHOU: India is continuing its excellent performance in the ongoing Asian Games. On Wednesday, the Indian team bagged gold and silver in the javelin throw. World number one Neeraj Chopra won the gold while Kishore Kumar Jena, who put up a strong fight, finished second and won the silver. Neeraj won the gold with a throw of 88.88m.
India also won gold in the men's 4*400m relay. It was the team of Anas Muhammed Yahiya, Amoj Jacob, Muhammed Ajmal, and Rajesh Ramesh that won gold in the relay.
India won silver in the women's 4*400m relay. The team consisting of Vidya Ramraj, Aishwarya Mishra, Prachi and Subha Venkatesan won the silver. Lovlina Borgohain won silver in the women's boxing 75kg category.
