Conditional bail for Shiyas Kareem in sexual abuse case, was aborted twice, invited me to hotel and attacked, says complainant

KASARGOD: Actor and Big Boss fame Shiyas Kareem was granted conditional bail in the case of sexually abusing a woman on the pretext of marriage. The high court directed to produce him in the magistrate court and release on conditional bail.

A case was registered by the Chandera Police in Kasaragod on the complaint of a woman, a coastal resident of Hosdurg Taluk. He was taken into custody from Chennai Airport. The customs officials detained the actor who arrived from the Gulf.

Shiyas Kareem is a known model and social media star in Kerala. He had also participated in reality shows including Bigg Boss. The complaint is that he sexually abused her at a hotel on the national highway in Cheruvathur on the pretext of marriage.

Shiyas has a gymnasium in Ernakulam. He had advertised seeking a trainer for his gym. Seeing this, the thirty-two-year-old complainant contacted him. Then both of them got to know each other. The complaint also stated that he accepted Rs 11 lakh from her on the promise of making her a partner. The woman alleged that she was summoned to the hotel and beaten up and had aborted twice.
