If BJP comes to power for third time, our country will be in danger, says CM

KANNUR: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that if the BJP comes to power for the third time, then our country will be in danger and there is no use in grieving later. The BJP's aim is to establish a religion-based nation and to take biased stances against minorities, said the chief minister while talking at the LDF’s family meet in Kannur.

A group was formed by those who wanted to protect secularism in the country. The chief minister said the BJP should be brought to a position where it cannot continue to govern. The BJP has realized the fact that another term is impossible and this will push them to take more risky actions. The ED raid targeting opposition parties has hinted this, the chief minister said.

A constitution based on unity in diversity was made in post-independence India. It was an assimilation of the values raised during the freedom struggle. This is the situation of the RSS which was against the freedom struggle at that time. Sangh Parivar is now looking to eliminate it. They do not like the unity of the country. Unwilling to accept differences. You should eat the same food we eat. Otherwise, it leads to communal conflict. We have seen the killings as part of it. Similarly, there have been many cow-based conflicts in our country', pointed the chief minister.

‘We had witnessed many incidents where a section of the people was kept on the side of the enemy and unleashed violence. All of this is for the same purpose. That aim is to establish a religion-based state and to adopt a highly biased position towards certain sects. Minorities in the country have to live in great concern.

If the BJP gets a third term, our country will be in danger. There is no point in being sad later. This fact is generally seen and accepted by the country. Based on that, everyone will come to a common position that this danger should be avoided', said the chief minister.
