MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly suffered a heart attack and was found unconscious on the floor in his bedroom. Reports indicate that a table containing food and water was also found knocked down.

Some international media reported that the Russian Telegram channel called General SVR broke the news. According to the Telegram channel, he was found lying on the ground by security personnel around nine o'clock on Sunday night.

'When he fell unconscious, he hit the table and the food fell on the floor. The security personnel came on hearing this noise. Putin slumped to the ground, twisting his body and rolling his eyes. The doctors present at his residence were immediately informed. He was then shifted to a special room where medical services were set up and given treatment. With timely medical attention, his heart continued to function and he regained consciousness," the Telegram channel said in a statement. According to the Telegram channel, Putin's body double has been attending all official meetings and events recently.

A video of Putin circulating on social media has fueled the debate about his health. A scar on Putin's neck raised suspicions. This led people to believe that the scar on the neck was due to the treatment following a heart attack.

Meanwhile, the Kremlin denied reports that Putin had suffered a heart attack and said he was healthy. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the media that reports that Putin is using a body double is absurd.
