Suriya and Dulquer teaming up, Nazriya too on board, Sudha Kongara to direct 'Suriya 43'

The film starring Tamil superstar Suriya and Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan has been announced. The two will be teaming up for the film tentatively titled 'Suriya 43'. The film will be directed by acclaimed director Sudha Kongara. The film also stars Nazriya Fahad in the lead role. Vijay Varma will also appear in a pivotal role. GV Prakash is composing the music for the film. This is also his 100th film. The film will be produced by Suriya, Jyothika and Rajshekhar Karpura Sundarapandian under the banner of 2D Entertainment.

Although the word 'Purananooru' is mentioned in the announcement video, it is not clear if this is the title of the film. The video hints that the movie will be in the action thriller genre.

This is Sudha Kongara and Suriya's second film together after 'Soorarai Pottru.' Suriya had won the national award for the best actor for his performance in 'Soorarai Pottru.' Meanwhile, Suriya is currently acting in the film 'Kanguva.' Directed by Siruthai Siva, the film will be released in 3D.
