Bachchan on screen with Rajinikanth after 33 years; crew shares new update of 'Thalaivar 170' with picture

New updates of the film starring Superstar Rajinikanth after the hit movie 'Jailer' is out. Tentatively titled 'Thalaivar 170', Indian cinema's Big B Amitabh Bachchan is also playing an important role alongside Rajinikanth in the movie. The shooting of the film started in Thiruvananthapuram a few days ago.

Now the crew has shared the information that another schedule of the film has been completed. Lyca Productions, the producers of the film, clarified this through their X page. A new picture of Amitabh Bachchan with Rajinikanth has also been shared. The picture is captioned as 'Reunion on screens after 33 years!'. The two had acted together in many films in the eighties. Major films that they acted together include Andha Kanoon, Geraftaar, Hum etc.

The movie is directed by TJ Gnanavel, the director of the hit movie Jai Bheem. Manju Warrier is playing the role of Rajinikanth's wife in the movie. Dushara Vijayan and Ritika Singh will also be making appearances in the movie. Other stars include Fahad Fazil and Rana Daggubati.
