Boldest girl on set who talks against suicide; Renjusha passes away on her birthday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The world of film and television is in shock following the tragic death of actress Renjusha Menon. Close friends of Renjusha still find it hard to believe the news of her passing. Renjusha was currently appearing in Kaumudi TV's series, ‘Varan Doctor aan’ and she had even acted in the last episode.

Known for her bold and vibrant personality, Renjusha did not face any significant financial difficulties. Friends from the TV seriel set express their shock since Renjusha had always said them never to consider suicide regardless of the challenges they might encounter. Today also marks what would have been her 35th birthday.

Renjusha's journey in the entertainment industry began as a television program host. She later made her film debut in ‘Classmates’ and appeared in various movies, including ‘Merikkundaru Kunjadu,’ ‘Bombay March,’ ‘Karyasthan,’ ‘One Way Ticket,’ ‘City of God,’ ‘Thalappavu’ and ‘Lisammayude veedu.’ Ranjusha was also a passionate Bharatanatyam dancer.

Renjusha was found dead in her Sreekaryam apartment around 11 am today. She resided there with her live-in partner. In the morning, her partner found her lifeless body hanging. Despite immediate efforts to revive her, she could not be saved. A forensic team has conducted an inspection of the apartment where her body was found.
