Wait coming to an end; Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph's film 'Neru' to hit theatres next month, release date announced

Jeethu Joseph-Mohanlal team's upcoming film 'Neru' will hit the theaters on December 21. The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. The release date was announced by Mohanlal through his official Facebook page. Reports had earlier claimed that the film would be released on Christmas.

This is the fourth film in which Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal are teaming up. Audiences have a lot of expectations regarding the film as all three films of this combo, including Dhrishyam', achieved great success. Mohanlal will play the role of an advocate in this film. This film is expected to be a legal thriller drama.

The film also travels through strong family relationships. Priyamani plays a pivotal role in 'Neru'. Other actors are Siddique, Jagadeesh, Nandu, Dinesh Prabhakar, Shankar Induchudan, Mathew Varghese, Kalesh, Ramadevi, Kalabhavan Jinto, Rashmi Anil and Dr. Prashant. Santhi Mayadevi and Jeethu Joseph have written the screenplay of this movie. The lyrics are penned by Vinayak Sasikumar. Vishnu Shyam has composed music for the film.
