Infamous Khalistani preacher and extremist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has yet again created a controversy with his acerbic threats against the Indian government. It was common for Pannun, a known rabble-rouser settled in Canada, to lambast the Indian government at times with some superfluous inanities. The Indian government has repeatedly enquired about Pannun with Canada, but the present chasm existing between the two countries helped Pannun to remain in North America. On Saturday, Pannun's glib talks crossed all limits as he threatened to blow up an Air India flight.

He also appealed to Sikhs around the world to not travel by Air India from November 19th as the threat of explosion looms large.

“ Sikhs should not travel by Air India from November 19th. It can be life-threatening. There will be a global air blockade on Nov 19th and the Indira Gandhi airport should remain shut on the same day. This is a warning to the government of India.” Gurpatwant Singh Pannun said in a video.

“ It is also the day of the Cricket World Cup. We will show the world what India did to the Sikh community. After the liberation of Punjab state, the airport will be named Shahid Beant Singh and Shahid Satwant Singh Airport. Freedom is our passion and we will do everything to balkanize India. I am warning the Sikhs again to not travel on Air India on November 19th. It can be life-threatening.” Pannun said.
