Back in August, Rajini's movie ‘Jailer’ created havoc in theatres with the black comedy, action and the multi-star cast hitting the right chords with the audience. The movie rewrote all previous records and ran the show for some two months straight. Jailer was directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and was produced by Sun Pictures. And now, after a long hiatus, the World television premiere of the movie has been announced. Jailer will be aired on Sun TV television channel on November 12 at 6:30 pm as a special gift to viewers for Diwali.
The movie has been streaming on Amazon Prime OTT for two long months. The cameo appearance of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal created waves in theatres and helped Jailer build a huge fan base in Kerala. Similar to Mohanlal's cameo, Kannada star Shiv Rajkumar also graced the screen for a few minutes in Jailer, but it was enough to shake up the theatres.
'Jailer' had music made by Anirudh Ravichander. The cast of the movie also includes Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan and Tamannaah Bhatia among others.
