Six people booked by TN police after actress Gautami Tadimalla's complaint

A case has been registered against six people considering the complaint filed by actress Gautami Tadimalla. The actress was cheated of Rs 25 crore in a property fraud case that had links with her close associate. The case is against Alagappan, his wife Nachal, Satish Kumar, Aarti, Bhaskaran and Ramesh Shankar, who all are natives of Sriperumbudur. In the preliminary investigation conducted by the police, it was found that Gautami's land was stolen by creating fake documents. Gautami filed a complaint with Kanchipuram SP on Friday.

The actress earlier filed a complaint with the Chennai City Police Commissioner that her 46 acres of land worth 25 crores were stolen in Kottaiyur near Sriperumpathur through deceiving tactics. According to the complaint, four different fake transactions were created for the fraud.

Meanwhile, Gautami and her daughter Subalakshmi received death threats from unknowns after the complaint was filed. According to the actress, it is Alagappan and his coterie who are behind the death threat gimmick.

Gautami earlier resigned from BJP after the party leadership showed lax and abetted Alagappan in the case.
